This series serves as a diary recording moments of life changing decisions. In chronological order, the paintings portray concept of priority and direction. Visually they all have a single focal point supported with shapes conveying the image of a compass needle. Beginning with the simplest piece, Focal Point I, following paintings become more cluttered as additional shapes come into play. The series ultimately explores how decision making transitions from simple to complex while the correct answer stays obvious. ​
