LOOK INSIDE ME

Reflection is a self-exploratory and interpersonal series. In Reflection I  (2017), the image itself is an abstract interpretation of a grand piano in its reversed form complete with 88 lines (strings) in place of the original key set. A grand piano served as a source rather than a regular piano in order to portray the concept of unveiling of the cover to observe the inside. Upon first glance, the strings seem to be random and jumbled, but following each string, there is a sense of order with the layering of different colors along with intentional pattern sequence. This was done to share the experience of finding peace and order in midst of troubled state of mind through playing music or creating art. The transparent, multicolored screen is set in place as the piano cover playing with the concept that outward appearance often masks what is within, but only partially.
