The Frenchie series is a collection of portraits of French Bulldogs. Kanta (portrayed in Kanta I-VIII) is a happy dog and he has brought so much joy into people's lives just by existing and being his charming self. He loves snuggles under a blanket after a bath, frequently uses his endearing ways to win treats, believes he is rightfully part of the large dog squad in parks  (oblivious to the larger dogs' disinterests), dreams of one day swimming in the ocean,  is secretly (only to himself) afraid of cats, enjoys sleeping inside a carryon bag, stares indefinitely to earn hugs or cuddles, and often misses aim on the pee pad. Kanta has no worry in the world and trusts his humans (artist's younger brother and his fiancée) unconditionally. Everything seems truly all right with his presence.
